This bedroom turned craft room has been in the works for years.
Have you ever had a project like that?
We are talking 30 years.

Painting Paneling

Today I want to share with you what I have done to our upstairs living room.
It has taken months to accomplish what I have finished so far but for the most part, a lot of it is done. I still have a lot of painting to do and it will happen eventually.
Ready for before and after pics?
Me too!!

Goodbye Hunter

We will miss you Hunter!
You were the BEST fur baby we have ever had.
We love you and you gave us a wonderful 15 years.
We will always remember you.

New Year's Resolution

I want to start off by saying I haven't made a New Year's resolution in years.
When I first starting making them, I would always break them or never make them, so I gave up trying.
I have been reading a lot about resolutions lately.
I follow several bloggers that found a way to actually achieve their goals.
So I decided to make some of my own and hopefully be able to follow through.

Want to know what they are??

And now that I have made a list of what I want to do, I am in the process of breaking them down to figure out how to achieve them and will fill you in as I go.

So what is your New Year's Resolution or do you skip it like I used to do?

Make A Christmas Tree with Tinsel and Wire Hangers

I want to share a fun project with you.
Making your own little Christmas tree with wire coat hangers.

I have to tell you a little story about how I started making these beautiful trees.
Years and years ago, my aunt Beth made these and gave 1 to each family member at Christmas time.
I had mine many many years and then my aunt Beth passed away.
My tree got old and started falling apart. So I decided I would make me and the rest of my family and friends these beautiful trees. I took it all apart and figured out how to do it.

Now you can too.

Awesome Farmhouse Sign

Can you be in love with a sign, lol!!
I love, love, love this sign.
I first saw in on Sweet Pickin's FB page and wanted to make it.
It has taken months and months to start it but a couple of weekends ago I started it and finished it.

It is a HUGE sign.
Want to see it, I thought so, lol.

Outdoor Sign in Rustoleum Glitter Paint (Silver)

Here is the last glitter paint project!
See the other frames here and here.
It's not quite finished. I have it painted but I want to add our address numbers for an outdoor sign.
So for right now, it's hanging out with the rest of the frames.

Before

Rustoleum Glitter Paint Frame Projects

I love this paint!! It is awesome!
If you read my last post here, you know that I won 2 quarts of Glitter paint from Rustoleum.

So far I have only done frames with this paint. And the way this glitter highlights the details is amazing.

It's hard to see the highlights but in person, they look fantastic.

Here are some pics to look at.

Rustoleum Glitter Paint Frame

I cannot believe how time flies around here! Seriously, it's has been awhile since I posted, I'm so sorry.

That said, I won a couple of quarts of *glitter paint* from Rustoleum! Yay me!!

I will be honest, I am not a big fan when it comes to glitter. I like it but not love it if that makes sense.

With that said, I was thinking of what I would paint with glitter paint when Rustoleum came out with a gold, silver and iridescent glitter paint. I put my name in and came up with a few things to paint.
I won two quarts of the paint.

So do you want to know what I painted and what the glitter paint looks like?
As I said before, not a fan of glitter paint BUT I love this paint, seriously, LOVE IT!!!

The first is a little frame I cleaned up. I have had this for years and never did anything with it. It's made of a heavy plastic. I used Rustoleum chalk paint on top of it after I cleaned it with a toothbrush and got the dirt and dust off.
