I cannot believe how time flies around here! Seriously, it's has been awhile since I posted, I'm so sorry.
That said, I won a couple of quarts of *glitter paint* from Rustoleum! Yay me!!
I will be honest, I am not a big fan when it comes to glitter. I like it but not love it if that makes sense.
With that said, I was thinking of what I would paint with glitter paint when Rustoleum came out with a gold, silver and iridescent glitter paint. I put my name in and came up with a few things to paint.
I won two quarts of the paint.
So do you want to know what I painted and what the glitter paint looks like?
As I said before, not a fan of glitter paint BUT I love this paint, seriously, LOVE IT!!!
The first is a little frame I cleaned up. I have had this for years and never did anything with it. It's made of a heavy plastic. I used Rustoleum chalk paint on top of it after I cleaned it with a toothbrush and got the dirt and dust off.
Then I added glitter paint to the raised design. I think it turned out great and now I am using it!
I know it's a little hard to see the glitter. It is on all the projects. Guess I can't photograph them well! But in person it is awesome. It's not the big flaky glitter, it's very fine and easy to work with. I used about 3 coats on all the projects.
