New "Old" Sign

I have had this stick of wood for a couple of years now, lol. I got it while volunteering here in town. When I saw it, I thought this would make a great "something", haha. Well, I finally made something with it. Only two years, not bad I would say, lol. I didn't have a picture of before but you can see what it would have looked like without the picture.
Look at all that old wood goodness...
 Holes and all.

I thought that I would paint the word Thyme on it with a little picture.
Found the line art on the net.

I didn't make it look old but I think I will shabby it up a little.

All I have to do now is hang it.
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. your sign is wonderful. I like how you left the rough edges on. Hope you don't mind if we "borrow" your look.

  11. This is quite charming. It would make a beautiful marker for a garden. Well done!
