Repurposed Sewing Cabinet to Phone Stand

I have finally finished the sewing cabinet/phone stand!!
It has taken me so long to do this.
You see, I do not have an area to paint in and it has been windy EVERY day for the last several months, (ok, at least two months non stop).
Here it is before.

BEFORE & AFTER

Yard Sales and Tio

I still haven't finished my latest project yet but I'm working on it. I thought I would share my recent finds with you. Some are from last weeks yard sales and some are from this Saturday.
I don't know about your part of the world bur here in mine it is sooooooooo hot. 99 degrees hot! And I don't wanna work outside lol.

Don't you just love this??? I love pooh and the watch is so adorable and never worn. Not sure if it works but will can add a battery if need be.

Repainted Stool

So I am finally working on projects again but at a more manageable level, lol.
At least that is what I am telling myself.
Yesterday I showed you the stool I bought years ago.
The intentions were to paint it but didn't.
Here is the stool Before & After.

Mission Impossible

I have been working on emptying two storage sheds full of awesome  stuff. I made a promise to my husband and to myself that I would have both empty by Christmas, if not sooner. Talk about mission impossible!! You know how you get to something and you say to yourself you can't possibly get rid of this certain thing because "yada yada yada?? Yeah, that's me, lol!
It has been over two months since I have posted. Where does the time go???I spent about 6 weeks sick...what's up with that?? I usually bounce back fairly quickly but not this last time. BUT.. what a weight loss program! Lost about 10 lbs. but I'm gaining it back darnit!! :0(

Look what I have been up to!

Storage shed #1. Yes, I am renting two, TWO storage sheds. This pic is bad. Took it with my phone and in the sun but you get the idea. So sad, so many projects. I can't sell this stuff online because shipping can be so expensive. I made a promise to myself to have both storage sheds cleaned out by the end of the year.

I found a great site that is local and on facebook and does an online auction. As you can see by the pic, I made a dent... YAY. A little dent but a dent. This is the biggest shed and I have a lot of stuff to sell, lol. I decided to stop doing projects and just sell what I can and take the rest to Goodwill. Until I get this cleaned up I will not be working on projects. This just got me so down that I couldn't even think of doing anything about the mess. BUT I started this online auction and I am $150 richer and putting a dent in the chaos. I am actually have fun and may sell my husband at the end of it....Any takers, lol.
No, I'm not drinking a case of Black Velvet, lol, but I may at the end, hahaha.

And this is my truck with a load. Everything has sold except a doll house and a couple of boxes of crap. This is my 1st load and have made two more since then. I think I am going to make my goal.
Have a great week!!

A Beautiful Hat Box

I have had this hat box for years, always wanting to do something to it!!
Finally that day came. It's done!
Here's what I started with. Think I got this box at good will.

Belts into Bracelets

Welcome back friends, guess what I have been up too? Repurposing belts into bracelets, that's what. And....I'm loving it! So fun. They are quite simple but I think they are great.
Lets begin, shall we....

This is the second one I made, for my daughter.

Repurposed Belts

When my father in law passed away a few years ago, my husband brought back quite a bit to go through. One of them were belts. I immediately thought of making bracelets out of them.  Repurposing leather belts into bracelets.

Posting

I haven't posted in forever and I'm so sorry!! My dad has been in the hospital since last Tuesday. He had 6 bypasses and an artery that was leaking, so they went in an fixed that. By Thursday I could hardly stand or sit. Found out this week my sciatic nerve was the problem. So... it's been quite the two weeks. When I get back on my feet again, I hope to be posting more. Please keep my dad in your prayers.

Thank you,
