Goodwill Hunting

Since returning home I have been busy painting up a storm! I also need to get out and do some gardening and finish the deck but best laid plans and all that, lol.

Today I am going to show you what I found at my local Goodwill. I usually go in thinking I won't find anything but that was not the case yesterday. Here we go.

First off I bought 12, 1/2 pint canning jars that were new and unopened for $3.99, score. Always need those! Didn't get a picture of those, we all know what they look like, lol.

I love this little Paris chest!! It's very clean on the outside and the inside. I don't think anyone used it!

I love the belts that keep it closed.

Not sure what to do with it but probably use it for storage! I love it and even though it is not real luggage, it looks like it could pass for it.

I will be honest, I am not looking forward to the seasons changing. I love summer, spring and fall not winter! But since my daughter moved away I am just not feeling it! Know what I mean? I don't have any decorations out to welcome fall or Halloween but a couple of days ago I felt that it would be nice to have something to welcome the change. So when I went to GW yesterday I found this..
I love it and it looks very realistic. Of coarse the pine cones are real, lol. I had a pumpkin I bought sometime this year at GW and our initial to dress it up a little.

Not a big change, very simple but a nice change.

Don't mind the trim that's not finished around the door, we just bought a new door and frame and I haven't finished it, lol. It's on my to do list!!

I also had a lovely silver teapot in excellent shape but for some reasons it has disappeared!! So no tea pot no picture :0(

The next item was not from GW but from my sister. I have always loved this bench but not the color. Don't get me wrong, I love the green just not on this bench. So I painted it!!

Then I distressed it but left the top alone. I will wax it here soon to protect it. I will, soon!

They had two of these at GW but I just got the one. It is ugly now but can you see the potential?? I can! I am going to paint it the gray color I have been using and distress it a little and then paint our address numbers on it!! What do you think?? It is dark blue and fairly large.

It's a hard plastic but I think I can make it work, we will see!!

So what do you think??
Good haul?
Did you have any luck this week finding treasures?
Let me know in the comment section.

Have a wonderful week.

This is what I am working on next.
