Rustoleum Glitter Paint Frame

I cannot believe how time flies around here! Seriously, it's has been awhile since I posted, I'm so sorry.

That said, I won a couple of quarts of *glitter paint* from Rustoleum! Yay me!!

I will be honest, I am not a big fan when it comes to glitter. I like it but not love it if that makes sense.

With that said, I was thinking of what I would paint with glitter paint when Rustoleum came out with a gold, silver and iridescent glitter paint. I put my name in and came up with a few things to paint.
I won two quarts of the paint.

So do you want to know what I painted and what the glitter paint looks like?
As I said before, not a fan of glitter paint BUT I love this paint, seriously, LOVE IT!!!

The first is a little frame I cleaned up. I have had this for years and never did anything with it. It's made of a heavy plastic. I used Rustoleum chalk paint on top of it after I cleaned it with a toothbrush and got the dirt and dust off.

Tree-mendous

I cannot believe it peoples......

This year we put up our Christmas Tree Tuesday, Nov. 29 and today we decorated our outdoor tree!!
That is a first in history for me.
AND to top that off.........I have all of the Christmas presents that need to be sent off, wrapped and on the way to the post office tomorrow.
Haha, sorry, so excited that it's done and I have to pinch myself because I still can't believe it!

This year we decided to go with an artificial tree we found at Home depot. Even my husband loved it, who is not a fan of the fake variety, lol.
It is from Martha Stewart Living. See it here. And we got it on sale, which is even better.
I was having my doubts when first opening the box but after working it over I like it.

Kitchen cabinets done!!

Hello Friends,

Since May I have started a full-time job.
I left off by finishing the backsplash for our kitchen.
So it took me all these months to finish it.
Want to take a look?

LeakSeal by Rust-0leum

Well I am loving my counter tops, even though it was a total hassle! And I am slowly working on painting my cupboards but lack the want to keep going, but I will, lol!

So, I am doing a product trail called LeakSeal with Rust-olem! It's a Flexible Rubber Coating which seals leaks and cracks instantly. It's water-tight and paintable.

We have a basement in our home and it looks basically the same as the upstairs but where the kitchen would be downstairs is just and extended living area.

We have two windows that set just at dirt level. These windows have leaked since we had a contractor put them in 20 some years ago. I have tried a few things over the years but nothing has worked. So they have had nothing around them and I have taken the frame of one window down a long time ago. Our seasons are pretty dry here but this last winter was very wet and we had snow on the ground for about 3 months, which is unheard of here. Anyways, it leaked again, going down the cement wall.

When Rust-oleum  was picking 50 people to sample their product, LeakSeal, I was hoping I would win and get the chance to try it! I did, Yay!! So this is about LeakSeal.

New Counter Tops

I have been working on these babies since 1917, lol. OK not really, I wasn't even born yet!!
I started on Feb. 13 and just finally got them done.

Quick Project

I have a quick and easy project this go around!
Even though it's easy, it took me a while to get to it.

A friend of mine gave this doorknob to me on my last birthday and I love it but didn't have a place for it until recently.
I have been redoing (or rather) repainting my kitchen and had to take things down to do so.

I have quite a bit of old boards lying around and so I married the two, lol.

What Would You Do?

Hey Friends,

I hope your weather is improving wherever you may be.
Our snow has finally melted, Yay!!

I have been working on several things and finally have finished two.
I am sharing one today.

I bought this little blue dresser about a month ago for $25.
I should have looked at it closer, my bad.
After I got it home and finally started working on it, I found out that the drawers all needed to be realigned and glued back into place and it was cheap particle board.
That's what I get for not looking (who does that) just me, I'm sure, lol.

Rusty Metal Box

Hello Friends,
It's almost Friday!!
Do you ever feel there is not enough time in the day?
I have been working on several projects, trying to get them done all at once, which we know never works out, lol.

Redoing the Kitchen

Hey Friends, it's snowing again, lol. This is the most snow we have had in Oregon in years! We have had snow on the ground since December, which in my part of the woods is unheard of. Maybe two weeks at the very most and I tell you what, I'm getting tired of it and want spring to show up, lol.

Here is a look of what I have been up to while it's been snowing outside.

I have wanted to paint our kitchen for some time now. It hasn't been painted for twenty some years. I painted the trim around the kitchen finally but still have the ceiling to do!
Here is what is done so far.
